I'm not sure if I'm truly allowed to claim that I am part of the MHS Class of 2001 -- since I moved away for the last two years of high school. HOWEVER, since I went to Lincoln Elementary, Madison Middle School, Madison Jr. High, and Madison High School with all of you -- I'll always be a Bobcat in my heart. I've loved reading your updates, so I thought I'd share mine. This is what I've been up to since my time at MHS...

I left Madison High School after our Sophomore year and moved with my family to Santiago, Chile where my Dad served as a Mission President for the LDS Church. I went to an International School (English-speaking) and graduated with a class of 53!! In the Fall of 2001, I reunited with many of you at BYU-Idaho. I had an awesome college experience and graduated with a Bachelors in Communications in December 2004. I then moved to Provo, Utah where I worked for a company called "Prosper" as the company's Communications Coordinator. I loved living in Utah, but my favorite part was meeting a handsome guy named DJ Probert. If his name/picture looks familiar to you Kennedy Elementary alumni, it's because his family lived in Rexburg for a few years when he was younger. He lived near the fair grounds on Chad Drive. He is a year older than us and remembers a few of you.

DJ and I were married in December 2006 in the Mt. Timpanogos LDS Temple. After DJ finished school at BYU we moved to Dallas, Texas to pursue grad school options. We've been here ever since. We added a little boy, Liam (2 years old) to our family in October 2008 and more recently a little girl, Rylee (1 month old) in May 2011. I get to stay at home with them and they keep me on my toes. I am also an Independent Affiliate for MoneyWise.

We've enjoyed living in Texas, but hope to eventually make it back to the Utah/Idaho area. We weren't able to be there for the Class Reunion, but hope you all had a wonderful time reconnecting!!

Came home. Finished Sophmore year of BYU-I.
Moved to Alaska and worked for a summer as a tour guide.
Completed Junior year at BYU-I.
Did a 3-month volunteer internship at Merrill Lynch in Los Angeles.
Finished school and graduated with Bachelors in Business Management from BYU-I in May, 2007.
Moved to LA and worked as a financial analyst for 2 years.
Left LA in July 2009 and took a job in SLC at Goldman Sachs.
Worked at Goldman for almost 2 years.
Decided to leave the finance industry.
Started a new job 3 weeks ago at a company called Morris Meetings & Incentives in SLC as a sales executive.
Currently live in Sugarhouse, UT.
Still single.
Love to travel and go to concerts. Some favorites have been Maui, Costa Rica, Thailand, New Zealand, Tahiti.
Love spending time in NYC and LA.

I have enjoyed reading about everyone and thought I would add a little about what I have been up to. After High School, I attended BYU-I majoring in secondary math education. I took a break from school to serve a mission in Guatemala. After returning in Dec. 2005, I graduated from BYU-I Dec. 2006 with a major in math education and a minor in spanish education. Justin and I were married Aug. 11, 2006. I taught High School for 1 year in American Falls, Jr. High for 1 year in Idaho Falls, and Middle School 1 year in Rigby. Jr. High was my favorite! Our son, Carson, was born Jan. 29, 2009. I quit teaching public school to stay home with him. I am still at home teaching private piano and violin lessons. We are expecting a little girl in September. I stay busy with my many hobbies including scrapbooking, crocheting, cross-stitching, sewing, cake decorating, making diaper cakes, cooking and anything else to keep my hands busy. I have been a cub scout leader for the past 4 years and continue doing so. Both my 2 year old and I love to have scouts. Justin has a masters degree and his PE in Civil Engineering. We currently live in Rigby, but I don't think my husband will ever change our license plates from 1M to 1J. Rexburg is home for us!

Ten years! That is crazy. Well, here's an update: After high school, I served as a full time missionary in Manaus Brasil. I then attended BYU-Idaho, met and married Lorna Larson in the Idaho Falls Temple in April 2006. We had two little girls, Aubrey (4) and Lydia (2), while studying to get my Bachelor's Degree. I majored in University Studies, with minor's in Geography, Geology, and Recreational Leadership. I chose this major because I wanted to learn a variety of subjects, rather than limit my education to one specific major. I graduated in July of 2009. We just had another little boy, Hal, 2 months ago. We bought our first home here in Rexburg last October. I have been working with my brother, Jared, building custom cabins in Island park, while also building custom picture frames at my mom's frame shop down town. Life is busy, but great!

Life for the past 10 years has been an AMAZING journey! I have been so very blessed! After high school, I started college at BYU-Idaho, seven days after graduation to be exact! I earned my bachelor's degree in nursing in April 2004. During this three year period I was introduced to my husband, James Morris. His sister was my roommate and very close friend. She decided we must go out. We agreed and fell madly in love! We were married in the Idaho Falls Temple in August 2004. One month later I began a master's program at the University of Utah. In April 2007 I earned a Family Nurse Practitioner degree or master's in nursing. In January 2008 we welcomed our first, Thatcher James Morris. We have been living in Sandy, Utah for the past 4 years. Life is great!

Final Reunion Details!

Can you believe that the big day is only 2 weeks away!! I guess it’s about time you had the final details about this event!

So here they are:

On Saturday, July 2^nd from 11-3 we will be having a mix and mingle picnic at Smith Park. We will be meeting at the South pavilion (by the tennis courts). In an effort to pay it forward to our high school community, admission to the event will be one can of food per person. All donations will go to the Family Crisis Center in Rexburg. Other than that—this event is absolutely free. Come show off your kids, the person you are dating, or anyone else you want to bring with you…and enjoy the park, the playground, and an acoustic performance by some of our classmates! Don’t forget to pack your own lunch and picnic blanket! The reunion committee will be providing dessert.

That same night at 6:00 we will be holding the adult only dinner (don’t forget to buy your ticket on the class blog if you haven’t done so yet!) at the NEW high school. For those of you who haven’t been in Rexburg for a while…you can click here for directions (it’s close to Burger King). We have a great night of food and entertainment planned. And really, could you find better company anywhere else? The dress is casual…unless you really feel like wearing your old formal gown for nostalgia’s sake J If you want to come but don’t want to eat—we will be selling tickets at the door for $5/person. There will also be a limited number of meal tickets at the door for $20. We can’t wait to see you there!!

Crazy that 10 years has gone by. I have been hit by several reminders that we are in fact getting older. The most glaring has come while participating in an online learning conference and realizing that we were some of the first to use e-mail. Now I have to take course to figure out all the techi stuff my students already know. When did power point become as boring as overheads? AHHHH....I am old. That being said, this is our story from the last 10 years.

Life has been crazy for the Smith's since graduation. Yes, Scott Smith and I, Kristen Erickson got married. Who would have thought? After graduation, Scott attended school at Albertson's College in Caldwell, Idaho. After a semester he served a mission, spanish speaking in San Francisco, CA. While he was gone I attended BYU-Idaho. I did a study abroad in central America and an internship in Washington D.C. for Senator Mike Crapo. We got married in June of 2004. I graduated with my degree in History and Government secondary education in 2005 just before our first little girl Kayt came around. Scott graduated with two bachelors degree's one in Business Finance and the other in Accounting in April of 2008 just before our second little girl Ella arrived. We decided it was time to bust out of the 'Burg and headed to Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. We loved our year in Columbus. However, Scott did graduate with his Masters in Accounting and we moved on to our next adventure. Scott took a job working as an accountant for the Financial Services arm of Ernst and Young in Washington D.C. We moved our little family to Fairfax, VA just outside of Washington D.C. After working for EY for awhile we decided to end our wild ride and establish a better life/work balance. We made the move back to Rexburg in early 2011. Scott is now part of Smith-Kunz and Associates and we are planted back in the 'Burg. I am lucky enough to stay at home with my two girls and teach government courses for Idaho Digital Learning Academy.

Holy smokes I feel OLD! Has is really been 10 years?! After high school I attended BYU-Idaho. I met up with a Jr. High crush in the autumn of 2001 and on March 15, 2002 I married the love of my life, BJ Chapman, in the Idaho Falls Temple. In the Spring of 2004 I graduated BYU-I in Professional Preschool Education. Shortly after graduation I joined the insurance world working for American Family Insurance as a Licensed Representative. My husband got accepted into the Pharmacy program at Idaho State University and we moved to Chubbuck, ID in August 2005. I continued working in the insurance field for Farmers Insurance. In August 2007, I worked for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints as a secretary/ senior clerk. On January 29, 2009, our daughter Brynlee was born and we could not have been happier. BJ graduated with a doctorate of Pharmacy in May 2009. We moved to Rigby, ID where we are currently residing. We have settled in and actually really like it here… though we both said we would never move to Rigby! I am currently a stay at home mom and LOVE it! I spend my days chasing a 2 year old around and am so happy doing it. I am a “Den Mother” to the Cub Scout Wolf Pack…a new experience for me! I love to bake and love throwing parties...especially Halloween!!! I’m loving life with my little family!

It seems like in some ways that we were all just in high school ready to get out. Ten years sure went fast. And I bet the next ten won't be slowing down at all. After graduation I went on a study abroad type program with BYU-Idaho. It was with a program called Quest. I spent two months on a island called Vashon just of Seattle. While there I took classes was able to go see some of the sites around that area, then the next two months were spent on campus in Rexburg doing classes. While there I met my husband Isaac who was on the last couple of months of his mission. We had really no contact there, but when he got to BYU-Idaho the following semester we met again and started dating. We were married later that year in November of 2002. I finished my associates degree one month before I had our first child Spencer (7). Since then we have had three more kids, Zachary (5), Anya (3) and Calvin (1). During that time Isaac continued going to school until he finished with his bachelors. We waited around for two years while he worked two jobs, trying to get into graduate school with no such luck. We lived in Rexburg during that time, but after no luck with schools we felt like we needed to help my grandpa out with the care of my grandma so we moved to Wyoming and spent the next 2 years there. While in Wyoming my husband started his Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology, and after my grandmother died last year, we moved back to Rexburg were he had found a practicum. So basically we are still in "school" mode and waiting for the day to be done. While watching the kids grow up way too fast and begin new adventures in their life with starting school and all that comes with it. And I am very lucky that I get to stay at home and enjoy the time with the kids. And hopefully later in life I will be able to go back to school. That is if I ever decide what I want to be in I grow up!

I am still unsure wether or not we will be able to go to the reunion. We have some other family obligations around that time, but with my husbands job not sure if we will be able to go to them. But if we are in town we will most likely attend the family gathering in the park. It will be fun to see friends who I have not seen since graduation. I can't believe we graduated 10 whole years ago,

I just can't seem to come to terms with being this darn old?!

No small amount of changes happened in the 10 years time

And as you see I still believe in telling tales by rhyme.

I took no break from education... learning is SO fun!!

I started classes up at Ricks that summer of '01.

I met and married Jake Moss (brother of our classmate Mike),

We stuck around to finish school in majors we both liked.

Jake was in Biology and I did Elem. Ed.

Then in the summers, with APX, from this small town we fled!

I graduated, taught 4th grade in Ammon for a year,

Then ditched the drive, taught 7th grade at MMS, right here.

Jake finished up, we moved to Illinois for his grad school-

A joint degree in Law and Med (I think he is a fool!)

Soon after starting Law School, our fam grew from two to three,

Kempton Brent was born and made us happy as can be!

I get to stay at home with him, teach piano on the side,

And whatever else life throws at us we'll try to take in stride

A lot has happen in the past 10 years. The Fall of 01 after graduation I Attended Mesa State College in Grand Junction Colorado. I majored in fine art with an emphasis in Graphic design. I finished in May 2005 with my BA in the program. College was a lot fun. I really enjoyed all the art classes. There was a great singles ward in the area that was a lot of fun too.

In the middle of my senior year of college I decided to get healthy. A year later I lost 80 pounds. That is my proudest accomplishment.

After college I moved back home for a few months while looking for work. I got a job in Salt Lake in September 2005 at OC Tanner as a corporate jewelry designer. It’s an employee recognition company. I have been there ever since; I now have been there almost 6 years.

My first year in Salt Lake I was single and living by myself in an apartment. I meet my husband Paul, at a singles YSA 80’s dance in August 2006. We hit it off; just 4 months later in December we got married in the Bountiful UT temple.

We bought a house in SLC in July 2007 and have been fixing it up ever since. Our current project is remolding the kitchen. We have gone on some nice trips together. Our favorites was a 10 night stay in Maui in Sep 2008 and most recently in this past January we went to the US Virgin Islands to the island of St. John for a week. We have also been to Las Vegas a few times, San Francisco and South Padre Island Texas.

TEN YEARS?! Hard to believe! An update on me: After high school, I went to BYU-Idaho for a few semesters and met my husband Patrick there. We soon were married and transferred to BYU. After a short stint in Provo we left for school and work in Davenport, Iowa. We were there for 6 months and then moved back to Rexburg so I could finish up my degree and Pat could get his Masters. I graduated with my Bachelor's in December of 2004 and a month or two later we had our first little girl, Gracie (now 6). A year later Pat graduated with his MBA from ISU and we took a job with Kimberly-Clark in Neenah, Wisconsin. Seven months later we were transferred to Ogden, Utah where we had our little Allison (now 4). We were there for almost a year and a half and then were transferred to Dallas, Texas. We stayed there for 2 years and also added a little boy, Miles (now 2) to the clan. Then in November of last year we moved to Massachusetts....and had another little boy, Scott (2 months). We had expected to move "home" (a.k.a. back West) by Christmas of this year, but life threw us a curveball. We fell in love with New England and just bought a home with the hope of actually settling down for a while. Luckily, we will be making the trek cross country for the reunion this summer so I can get my Idaho fix. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Well, summarizing 10 years renders me almost speechless... Some would call that miraculous, others would call it ridiculous. Having said that, I will attempt to summarize 10 years in 3 paragraphs and then invite you to my blog to catch up on the little splashes of joy. I spent my first year out of MHS studying too much, playing too little, and trying to be perfect. Obviously it was not very fun. However, I had the chance to dance with the Folk Dance Team and tour Quebec and the New England States which was fun. I withdrew from school for year two at Brigham Young University-Idaho to try and remember who I was and to develop a healthy relationship with food again. Some may say their mission was the best/hardest 2 years of their lives. I would say those 4 months was a mission for me. I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Since developing that healthier and happier perspective of life, I spent a summer in El Salvador with HELP-International and decided when I have children, I want a farm of boys so I can play soccer with them every day! Not only did I improve my Spanish but I realized that my self diagnosis of Seasonal Affective Disorder may not have been off kilter! I LOVED the sunshine! In efforts to blaze through school and make sun a more frequent part of my life, I went to school year round from 2004-2006, graduated with a Bachelor's in University Studies (meaning I still didn't know what I wanted to do with my life) with a minor in Spanish and Sociology, and a cluster in French... As a graduation present to myself, and to avoid joining the "real world" with my "fake degree" I moved to Chile where I studied more Spanish, traveled, and taught English to the International Chilean Police. I spent a summer selling security systems in Louisville, KY and got back in touch with a lot of my Madison friends. Shout out to Jameson Hayes, Jared Wall, and some of the class of 2002! Madison Jr High hired me for a year as an ESL teacher and I supplemented the income by coaching voice at BYU-Idaho.

September of 2008 sent me to Florida. I had no idea I would stay there past 1 year! I lived the charmed life of visiting Disney World on at least a monthly basis, going to the beach, and eating out for the first year in Orlando. Then reality hit and I began grad school at the University of Central Florida (UCF-- aka U Can't Finish). Foreboding though it seemed, I managed to carry a heavier than normal load and still graduate with my MSW (Masters in Social Work) this May. I know I couldn't have done it alone. Thank you to support from my family, blessings from above, and constant prayers/visits to the temple, I made it! The real job is coming! Despite my desire to stay in Florida, I felt like it was best to come to the land of the dry and cold. I just moved to Salt Lake City and am still looking for the miracle job. Hopefully I will have that ironed out when I return from England in 3 weeks.

10 years sure flew by fast! After graduation I attended BYU-Idaho. I met my husband Ryan Orme during his last semster of school, we dated for 2 years and were then married in the Portland Oregon Temple in July of 2004. As much as I whined and complained about living in Rexburg and how I just couldn't wait to get out of here, I happend to marry the one boy attending BYU-I who absolutely LOVED it here! So needless to say I graduated in the spring of 2005 with a Bachelors degree in Social Work and began my career as a Behavior Specialist for the Fremont School District. My husband and I lived the high life of dual income no kids for 3 years until our first child, a girl (Paige) was born in April 2008. To say it was a life changer would be an understatment. We soon adjusted to our new life and now wonder what we did for fun before kids came along. When our daughter was 8 months old we were suprised to find out that we would be having a son (Cameron) in September 2009.........and EXTREMELY SUPRISED again to discover another daughter (Ali) woud be joining us October 2010. So after 3 fast and furious years in the baby making business we hope to be finished adding new members to our family :) We moved all the way out to Hibbard where I am a stay at home mom of 3 kids 3 and under. Hope to see you all at the reunion in July!

Following high school, I started college at BYUI. After 3 yrs I applied to the dental hygiene program at ISU. I was accepted, but decided what I really wanted was to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I served a mission in the Nauvoo Visitors center and 7 1-2 month in the North Atlanta GA mission. When I returned from my mission, I again applied to the dental hygiene program and started fall of 2006. After graduating, I found a great job in Provo, UT. I have been living in Provo since Sept 2008. I bought a condo here 1 1/2 ago. I have great job and I really love loving in UT. I am enjoying the service I am able to give in the church and I am enjoying my associations in UT.

After MHS graduation, went to school in Michigan with Miles Haeberle for a year, majoring in theater. Served a full time mission in Long Beach, California, (where I met my wife) (don't worry, we kept it professional!). Came home to Michigan, started going out with Liz (my wife), popped the question on top of the Sears Tower in Chicago, got married Sept. 25, 2004 in the Nauvoo, Illinois temple. Worked as a theater and music teacher for a year at a performing arts academy in Michigan, and then moved to Orange County, CA, to be near Liz’s family and finish school. Lived in the OC for four years, working as a voice actor @ Disneyland (an improv show doing the voice of "Crush the Sea Turtle" from the film Finding Nemo), performing in a traveling acting troop doing improv for elementary schools, acting in various community theater productions and occasional Hollywood commercials and voice-overs, and working as part of the management team for a melodrama theater in Long Beach. Additionally, I spent a month living in Costa Rica and Panama on a sea turtle/manatee conservation project in the jungle. Earned my BA in History from California State University Fullerton in December or 2009. Lived in Las Vegas for most of 2010, working as a guide for and LDS-owned mountaineering company.

Moved to Orlando, Florida, in November or 2010 to continue working for Disney: again as Crush, and now also as a judge at the American Idol Experience, as Piper O'Bagley (a comedic bagpipe-player/street performer), as Morris Mulch (lead singer/harmonica-player of the classic rock band/landscaping company "Mulch, Sweat, and Shears"), and as Cletus Filmore (the cocky Hollywood movie director in the new Phineas and Ferb show). My wife is a pediatric nurse, does tap and Scottish highland dancing, and is foxy freak-a-hot redhead! We have one son, Ian – age 3, and a daughter, Molly - 18 months.

After graduation, I went to one year of college at BYU-Idaho. I then served an LDS mission in the West Virginia, Charleston Mission. I returned home and finished my education at BYU-Idaho, graduating with a B.S. in Biology and a double minor in Chemistry and Music. I also married my sweet wife (Traci Smith, sister of Scott Smith in our class) during my last semester at BYU-Idaho. Following undergrad, I did some medical humanitarian service and worked at an oncology clinic in Rexburg. I then entered Medical School at the University of Washington. I am currently living in Seattle and am finishing my 3rd year of medical school. Traci and I have 2 cutie pie girls, Alaina who is now 3 years old and Leah who is 16 months old. We visit both of our families in Rexburg several times a year and hope to move a little closer to home at some point.

Hello, everyone! I'm Elisa Rubio, perhaps better known as Elisa Hunt. After graduating from high school, I entered immediately into the nursing program at BYUI. During the course of my studies there, I spent a semester in Merida, Mexico (near Cancun). That semester changed my life, as I met my future husband there: Oscar, a native of the area. I graduated with my associates in nursing as an RN in 2003 (then my bachelors in 2010) and have mostly worked in cardiology or stepdown intensive care. Oscar came up to the US in early 2004 and we were married shortly thereafter in the April 2004. Our daughter, Lucy, was born in August of 2005. It turns out that Lucy is a very special girl. She is our little angel. She has epilepsy and severe developmental delays and attending to her has become my life's calling. Oscar became a US citizen in October 2009. I graduated with my bachelor's in nursing from BYUI's online program in April 2010. Our son, Israel was born in February of 2010. He is a very happy-go-lucky little chap. He says words in English and Spanish (spoken in our home) and also uses American Sign Language. He loves to give kisses to his "big little sister", Lucy. It's fascinating to see his innate connection to her. My husband joined the US Navy in September of 2010 and we've been apart now for 7 months while he has been in training. He graduates next week and we are so excited to reunite our little family. We will be permanently stationed in the Washington, DC area (Bethesda, MD). I have also recently been accepted to the Master of Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner program online through ISU and will be juggling that with our new life in Maryland. Lots of exciting changes around our house. Busy busy busy. It's great to hear from you all! "Facebook me" ;).

I just wanted to let everyone know that we had to switch the location of the Reunion picnic to Smith Park because of scheduling conflicts. We will still be meeting from 11-3 that day.

I also wanted to give you a heads up on dinner that night. Bart Munns (one year our senior) and his crew at 7 Lazy S will be catering for the event. I have only heard rave reviews about the menu...and am sure you don't want to miss out!

Well short and sweet. After graduation went to college at EITC in automotive for a year. After that i joined the US Army and served for 8 years. I served 3 tours in Iraq, 2004-2005, 2006-2008, 2009-2010. Im now a disabled vet from several injuries received in Iraq. I am now a tattoo artist and live in West Virginia. I married my wife Holly in 2003. We have 2 beautiful children, Dominic Rayven William Jensen and Ivee Rose Jensen. I met my wife in Idaho Falls while her and her father where visiting on business. She is from West Virginia so thats how I ended up here. I will be at the Class Reunion for sure.

He got a new job in Orem UT and we are looking to relocate there in the short future. We have a new baby boy in our family as of April 17 2010. His name is Henry Gerald Meng and he is the happiest little thing you ever saw. I hope that everyone is doing well and I hope I can make it to the 10 year reunion to catch up with some of you!

I've been reading everyone else's updates since highschool, so I guess now I'll do mine. After graduation, I had no idea what I wanted to do. I met my wonderful husband Kyle in June of 2001, and we were married on March 15,2002. I worked as a manager at Wendys until April, when I shipped out to Navy boot camp in Chicago, Ill. After 3 months of fun filled basic training, I took a plane to Charleston, SC, where I was allowed 2 weeks to go home and pack everything up before starting Naval Nuclear Power School in July. I went to 'A' school, where I was trained to be an Electrician's Mate, and graduated from that school in December of 2002. In January I started Power school, where I learned the theory behind Naval Nuclear Power. I moved on to Prototype just down the street that summer and graduated in November of 2003. Since then life has gone by quickly, we had our daughter, Cadence in August of 2004, and our son, Christian in September of 2007. I have served on the USS Abraham Lincoln in Everett, WA since January of 2005, and we are expecting our third child in April of next year. I deployed in February 2006 to the Western Pacific, where my ship visited Hong Kong; Sasebo, Japan; Pattaya Beach, Thailand; Singapore; and made 2 stops in Hawaii where I got to spend a much needed week with my husband and daughter whom I had not seen in five months, the ship participated in RIMPAC, an exercise with several different navies before heading home. We returned to homeport August 12, 2006-four days before my daughter's second birthday. I started working on my BSAST in Nuclear Engineering that fall and finally finished in December of 2008. I am currently pursuing my Masters of Science in Managment from Thomas Edison State College and hope to graduate by the end of next year. We bought a house in Marysville, WA in March of 2007. Keeping it short and brief. Most of you know me as Cathy Hart. In 1999/2000 name was altered to Cat :).... Moved to Utah early 2001 and have been ever since. Married for 5 years to a Local boy (Hawaiian), Keola Ohumukini.
Have 2 boys (Lono Keola, & Kealiiahounui Keikialoha), and am a stay at home mom. ..Haven't done any schooling since high school, but plan on going back when the youngest is a year older.
Aside from helping with events and luau's pertaining to the culture, we are pretty laid back.A lot of things done with family. Kind of like that Lilo and Stitch movie. "Ohana, means family, family means nobody gets left behind.." :)

So after graduation I started school at BYU-I studying Computer Science. I went to school and worked at Millhollow (as the only guy) for about a year. I then went on a mission to Minnesota Minneapolis Mission. I was originally supposed to speak Laotian, but after two weeks of learning it in the MTC my mission president in Minnesota closed the Laotian branch, sent my would be trainer to California, and changed me to Spanish (I was a little disappointed). Anyway, I spent twooo years teaching peoople in the Land Ooo' Lakes then. I spent most of my time in the twin cities in the ghetto (where most hispanics live), but I did get out into the smaller towns of Minnesota (Hutchinson & Pine City) for awhile. I have to joke that I learned three languages: Spanish, Ebonics, and Minnesootan. I had fun, learned a lot, and had some good experiences (like getting jumped or shot at, needless to say I survived).

After my mission, I resumed school and work at Millhollow. After about a year, I quite Millhollow and started working as a software developer at EZ-NetTools (a local website company) where I worked under the direction of Mike West's dad. During this time I was also a counselor to Mike West in an elders' quorum presidency (there were over a hundred girls in the ward and only about 25 guys, all 25 were local and mostly younger; anyway hometeaching was insane). In another ward shortly thereafter I met my wife Kristie (she was better than any of the over a hundred girls in the other ward). We were activities co-chairs in our singles ward. We had amazing dates. We would plan an activity and then forget to invite the ward... It was the best dating buget (that's a joke by the way).

Anyway, she and I dated for about a year and got married on August 20, 2006 in the Salt Lake Temple. She is from Keedysville Maryland and rides/trains/jumps horse in the English style. Shortly after we got married, she finished her degree in Biology Education with a minor in Health Science. She now teaches at the Juvenile Correction Center in St. Anthony and is working on her master's degree online from the University of Nebraska. For her masters project, we frequently drive to areas around the Ririe reservoir and one site just below the Teton dam to sample aquatic insects as a measure of biodiversity.

Anyway, I'm almost done with my bacheolor's degree from BYU-Idaho (yes it has taken me a while). Also, after EZ-NetTools I worked for the university as a software developer, but now I'm working on some websites for my uncle (www.highadventureusa.com

Hey, everybody! It’s fun to see what everyone has been up to since graduation! As for me, I went to school at BYU-Idaho from 2001-2005. I did a Study Abroad in Belize/Guatemala/Mexico/Honduras and one in Nauvoo. Ashley Tietjen got back from his mission to the Baltics in 2003 and we got married in June. I graduated with my B.A. in Organizational Communications (minor in Piano Pedagogy) in 2005 and Ashley got his B.A. in Business Management in 2007 (minors in Finance and Russian). We bought a house in Rexburg a couple of years ago and are loving life. We have three little munchkins. Malia (5) is all about friends and dance class. She’s starting kindergarten this fall – crazy! Devin (3) loves gymnastics, preschool, and anything water-related – swimming pool, sprinkler, spray park, even bath time! Corbin (1) is becoming quite the little chatterbox and is curious about everything. And we have another little boy on the way in October. Hi Everyone!

Well, I don't think my life is as exciting as all of you guys, but I'll throw in my two cents. Here goes: After graduating high school, I decided to jump right into school. I graduated in English Education in 2004, and then I started teaching soon after. I've taught English at Westview High (now Emerson High) in Idaho Falls, and now I teach at Rigby! I love being a teacher. I'm think I'm even going for the Master's in Education--I just have to see about my sanity, though!

In August 2005, I married Anthon Davenport. If the name sounds familiar, it's because he graduated in 2000. Life has been great. We even found a house in Rexburg, and we're excited. What can I say? We are homebodies at heart.

Where do I even begin? The last several years have been very busy for me and my beautiful little girl Bralee. She is now 7 and is full of fun and excitement. I have been going to school and working and being a "single and loving it" mom. I am majoring in nursing and plan on finishing my bachelors degree as soon as possible. I am also a massage therapist and love being a body worker. I have also been working at Rexburg Care and Rehabilitation for the most part of nine years. Hi everyone! It's great to see everyone's pictures and cute children! As for myself, I was married in 2002 to Nathan Kingsley, who recently returned from serving a mission in Russia. We went through college together, juggling school, children, and work. After graduation we moved to Austin, Texas so Nathan could work as a software engineer for National Instruments. Anyone traveling through the area is welcome to come stay with us! Our door is always open.

We have three children, Sarah age 6, Matthew age 5, and Daniel age 3. We've home schooled them for three years, so that's a large portion of our story. We are gardeners and I teach gardening classes in a couple cities and volunteer to help build backyard vegetable gardens for low income families. I am currently in Nursing school and I love learning the beauty of our bodies. I'm still an avid learner and love to read whenever I can, so I'm constantly involved in book debates and discussions in a book club. I create paintings and have had two paintings displayed in a public art exhibit. I try to create art whenever I can, but between Nursing School and home school and church and everything else demanding my time, art often takes the back seat.

The Summer after graduation I went and worked in Detroit Michigan for a summer and then went on a mission to the Santa Rosa California mission. I spent two great years in middle of the great Redwoods. Upon returning home I started work three days later and was trained by my now wife. A month after I got home I asked Kori on a date and we could not be separated. A month later we were engaged and three and a half months later we were married. I then started school at Utah State University. Kori graduated in 2006 and I am finishing in December in Recreation and Park Management and then in January I will start Graduate school in Indiana majoring in Recreation and Sport Management.
